The campaign’s goal is to raise awareness and mobilize society around the crucial issue of gender-based violence, while also empowering women to recognize and report violence in all its forms.
Launched on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (November 25th), the campaign took on a creative and personal approach. ABC Design Communication developed a printed folder-box, personalized with each recipient’s name on the outside, sending the message: “Maria, Eleni, George… it’s time to act together.” Inside, recipients discovered the white ribbon—the global symbol of resistance to violence—along with printed materials carrying strong messages such as #NOEXCUSE, BREAK THE SILENCE, YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
The campaign highlights both the extent of violence against women and the importance of empowering women with tools for recognition and resistance, while also driving collective action in fighting this issue.
Creative elements included visualizations of the stages of violence, with overlays illustrating psychological, verbal, and physical abuse.
Through this campaign, ABC Design Communication aims to generate positive social impact and foster a culture of unity and action, where everyone has a role in eliminating violence against women.
