How do we highlight natural ingredients through packaging?
Showcasing natural ingredients requires clean visual forms and clear color coding that immediately catches the eye. In our project for Violanta, the cookie packaging design focused exactly on projecting the product's undeniable purity. We selected vibrant, solid background colors such as bold blue, deep red, and warm orange to instantly differentiate the core flavors: classic rice, cocoa, and cinnamon. Simultaneously, legible icons emphasizing key features like "Palm oil free," combined with realistic, appetizing product depictions at the bottom, directly communicate high nutritional quality to the consumer.
What role does typography play in cookie packaging design?
Typography literally acts as the brand's direct voice on a highly competitive retail shelf. For the rice cookies range, we incorporated a bold, almost handcrafted aesthetic typeface for the main product title. This specific design approach immediately imparts an authentic, friendly, and highly accessible character, perfectly suiting an everyday nutritious snack. In harmonious combination with the more minimal, clean lines used for secondary nutritional information, the main brand message reaches the end consumer in mere fractions of a second.
How does a package earn international design awards?
Recognition in global institutions stems from finding the absolute balance between commercial effectiveness and innovative aesthetic appeal. This specific work stood out internationally, earning a proud accolade from the prestigious World Brand Design Society. This award clearly confirms that strategic cookie packaging design can perfectly serve retail sales needs while simultaneously standing as a benchmark for global design excellence.
