Handcrafted Tradition with a Contemporary Twist
The Nikolaou Family continues a long-standing tradition of handmade olive oil soaps, driven by a love for simplicity and the small rituals of everyday care. Our role was to translate this warm, family story into packaging that feels fresh, joyful and ready to be given as a gift.
We chose a paper box that both protects the soap and conveys a sense of purity and softness. On this foundation we created the “angel family” – playful, smiling characters that give each fragrance its own personality and turn every pack into a little story.
Clouds, soap bubbles and soft sky-blue tones enhance the feeling of cleanliness and lightness. The typography remains clear and approachable, allowing both the handmade character and the natural composition of the soap to come forward. A special cut at the top of the box makes it resemble a small present, ready to be shared.
The result is a cohesive packaging system that strikes a balance between tradition and contemporary design: it respects the handcrafted roots of the soaps while speaking today’s language through humour, colour and emotional connection. An everyday product is transformed into a cherished object of choice – and the perfect little gift.
