For the ILIDA olive range, our design goal was to break away from the traditional, cluttered image of the category and create a modern, premium identity suitable for the international market.
The new packaging had to instantly communicate the purity of the product (100% natural, without brine and preservatives) while harmoniously organizing the multilingual information. Our strategy was based on clarity and the dynamic use of color.
We divided the canvas into two distinct zones: an upper section featuring a subtle white wood texture for a natural feel, and a lower section with bold, solid colors (deep blue, magenta, olive green) acting as a strong color-coding system for the instant recognition of each variety.
In the center, a wooden spoon filled with olives serves as the dominant key visual, while the bold, sans-serif typography ensures maximum legibility. The company's red logo, featuring the classic amphora, beautifully grounds the modern design in tradition.
The result is a cohesive product family with commanding shelf appeal. The packaging masterfully balances authenticity with contemporary design, instantly communicating the freshness and premium quality of ILIDA olives. A design that delivers the modern, export-ready character the brand deserves.
