Jean Paul Lab aimed to revive the timeless charm of milkshakes, combining nostalgia with a contemporary design language. The challenge was to bring the audience back to the golden age of milkshakes while showcasing the brand’s premium quality and modern spirit.
Inspired by 1930s–1940s America, when milkshakes symbolized joy and indulgence, we developed a visual story full of retro flair. The black-and-white female figures evoke classic elegance, while each flavor is distinguished by a vibrant color scheme that enhances recognition and shelf impact. Our goal was to create packaging that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly current.
The design merges vintage aesthetics with modern minimalism, capturing the brand’s dual nature, premium yet playful. Clean typography, bold contrasts, and cinematic styling make each tin an object of visual pleasure. The series transforms the act of choosing a milkshake into a moment of joyful design appreciation.
